1957 Yes! When Late Sri. Jagdish Prasad Sharma, a visionary and young entrepreneur had a big Picture and the demographics of the wood Industry in India which led him to lay the foundation stone into wood business
1947 at Dhilwan near Beas in Punjab the central govt decided to put the Central saw mill to make up the deficiency of raw materials to the cottage workers that were engaged in the making of furniture and other wood works. It was still lacking the supply of wood to the needful. This was identified and addressed by this young visionary in 1957. He added his efforts to the growth of this (wood) industry in India
It was his meritocracy, excellence and passion that has scaled the wood business to new heights.
